SRC Security Research and Consulting GmbH

SRC is a company specialising in research, development and auditing of the security of smartcards, networks and software.

At the time when I joined the company, SRC was starting development of a complex application for one of their major customers. Due to specific requirements, existing application frameworks were deemed insufficient and we designed and developed our own. That framework provided metadata-driven access to a given database, with built-in capabilites for basic and complex CRUD operations, data journaling, four-eye principle operations, detailed authorisation models, multitenancy, internationalisation and more; and provided components and generated objects for programmatic access to that functionality where customisation via metadata and callbacks was not enough.

My responsibilies at SRC were:

• Development of front and middle layer of the company's web application framework; Java 2, J2EE, XML, XSLT, HTML/JS; based upon that framework co-development of projects for SRC GmbH customers.
• Maintenance and development of the Online Security Service Platform of SRC (a credit card certification system)
